At what point (year) did the Alpines officially turn into the Renault Alpine?

    That was in 1973.

    hmm it's not that simple

Redele was always backed by Renault money.
After setting up proper Alpine production in 1960 he then in 1965 formalised an agreement to sell Alpines through Renault dealerships. This formal relationship formed the basis of the naming of all the cars as Alpine-Renaults.

So the badge existed from much earlier than the 1973 formal transfer of ownership of Alpine to Renault. And the transition to naming them Renault-Alpines Or worse in the UK just Renault because Sunbeam owned the UK rights to the Alpine name on cars

Being in the middle of that transition you can find A310s with Alpine-Renault on the rear wing AND Renault-Alpine
