Im happy for you guys, having driven both the 2.0t and the 3.8NA, I can say that either engine would do well for drivers. I was very pleased with the turn in and the ease that it will kick its ass out. The 2.0 felt more like 240 hp, while the 306hp felt slightly less, being a more linear power delivery. I think a TT v6 with around 400 hp would be very fun.

    And some more.

    Technical Specifications as well:

Problem is, availability is limited to just a 1000 cars or so for the whole of Europe. Pity.

Perfectly happy to do without luxury... and safety is a matter of personal vigilance and survival skill, one of the rewards for
driving strictly vintage. It's also a requirement of sharing the road with bulky modern cars and their largely clueless pilots.

    1990 E30 M3 = 2865lbs, 2010 E92 M3 = 3726lbs. Adjusted for inflation the new car costs much more, too.

    especially at only the legal limit , there is NO reason - barring a mechanical failure - to crash . . . . . . . . . Ever

modern cars perform so well they virtually drive themselves. 100 km/h is so slow , crashing at that speed is inexcusable

    (or course the aforementioned excepted)

the only safety device needed in any car , is between the ears of its user
