I hate to complain about something so trivial like a rear view mirror, but really - what the hell? It looks like a lazy afterthought that totally ruins the balance in front three quaters view, see post #5 pic#4 for example.

I'm sorry to see this one of most elegant designs in the current decade to be manhandled like this. Master Fioravanti's work does not deserve such a illiterate approach.

    Sorry about the rant.

I for one am completely sold.

I think that it looks simply stunning, sounds great, and to answer the marketing question that has been hanging around this car since its inception, if I had the money I would absolutely pay $100,000+ for a Lexus

In Spain it'll cost 380.000€. Or in other words, more than a Murcielago LP640.

I'm usually very picky about rear view mirrors, and in this case it was the black plastic in the inner side.
Now I see the effect you're talking about. Not as bad as I thought when I read your post, but I see the point.

I was hoping they'd clean up the design.....they tried too hard to make it look like a supercar by adding scoops and vents to an otherwise plain base design.

You could do the same thing with a Camry.

If it was the new Supra and they put a Toyota badge on it, I'd think more of it. It looks similar to both the last Supra and also the Toyota IQ and I think it would look good at a Toyota dealer. However it's badged as a Lexus, who I think should be able to pull of a more coherent design (like the concept car).

Also, what does the C pillar vent do?

    Isn't a Ferrari 599 GTB about 220,000 Euros? For 380K Euros I can buy a 599 AND a Nissan GT-R AND an IS-F. That's an easy call.

I think it's more like 250k Euros. 375k USDs. As Ferrer said, it's this, or an LP640. I'd rather have this. This has the most amazing Interior, and it's exclusive, since it's limited to 500 units. Only thing that this car lacks is the brand. Lexus really doesn't sound as good as Lamborghini...

There's probably only one coming to canada, if any at all so no point seeing what it would compare to with its canadian pricing. But that exhaust note is amazing, another car with an almost F1 sound. Just puts a smile on my face.

Think about Volkswagen and Toyota then.
