there is a little more to it, as Berliet continued to build trucks after WWII until fully taken over by Renault in the seventies.

Actually first it was taken over by Citroën, then sold to Renault, then integrated into Saviem and finally stopped full production in 1979 (IIRC).Originally Posted by henk4
