    Right, but look at every car-magazine: the competition-tests are always against Golf, Astra, Mazda3 and so on. And Merc is even more expensive than the Golf with same extras...

    Probably, but do you think people would cross-shop a Golf with an A-Class? I doubt it.

    Altough it is indeed expensive.

    Are you serious? And how much better mileage (kilometerage? ) will you be getting with Mercedes? If it's not that much better then this car was built clearly for brand snobs.

    I don't know how much better this is for longterm driving.

    Nope. We don't get it. Surprisingly, after looking at the USA M-B website, the R Class was still being sold. I thought that was discontinued?

    Whoa. Nothing to be proud about for the M-B then. North America gets the 1.5 in the Fit, but it shouldn't be that far different anyway. Besides, the Fit is the bigger, more useful car, no? So why should I even look at the A Class? Kinda pointless, no? Especially with the Smart cars?
