Have you heard the sound of the Tesla electric motor? I think it sounds pretty cool.

    You suck.

There. That was a thinly-disguised insult.

I just wanted to vent my rage at someone.

I won't disguise this: Shut the *&#% up.

Did you read any of the rest of this thread? Some of us are actually making a contribution to the discussion. So yes, there is more to us than insulting you.

For my desires to own very loud, fast, scary petrol powered cars, if the bugs were worked out of the Tesla I'd happily add one to the future collection.

I just stumbled across this video, and I think some of you might enjoy it. Of course, this is not a review of the car by an independent source, but from watching the video I get the impression that Martin Eberhard is a very direct and honest guy.

EDIT: I posted the wrong URL before. Sorry about that.

If you haven't already seen it, I recommend checking out the Tesla blog.

Road and Track got what they claim to be the "First Complete Test of the 2009 Tesla Roadster". Check it out.

Nice to see a legitimate test of the delivery model. I think the car is a nice stepping point to a better electric car, but it's not something I'd ever buy. I'd much rather have the Elise.
