    Recently Watched Movies

Since currently in the miscellaneous section there are a couple of threads regarding movies, I thought it would be a nice addition to add a topic about which movies you have recently seen, with your personal view/opinion/recension about the movie. This way you might come upon some hidden movies which are worth watching.

ofcourse no SPOILER alerts about movies!!

my second post in this thread might give you a good idea of what im trying to achieve

    Garden State

Andrew Largeman shuffled through life in a lithium-induced coma until his mother's death inspired a vacation from the pills to see what might happen. A moderately successful TV actor living in Los Angeles, "Large" hasn't been home to the Garden State in nine years. But even with 3,000 miles between them, he's been unable to escape his domineering father Gideon and the silencing effect he's had on his son from afar. Stunned to find himself in his hometown after such a long absence, Large finds old acquaintances around every corner living quite unique lives as gravediggers, fast food knights and the panderers of pyramid schemes. Meanwhile, at home, he does his best to avoid a long-simmering but inevitable confrontation with his father. By a twist of fate, Large meets Sam, a girl who is everything he isn't. A blast of color, hope and quirks, Sam becomes a sidekick who refuses to ride in his sidecar. Her warmth and fearlessness give Large the courage to open his heart to the joy and pain of the infinite abyss that is life

I Really enjoyed watching this movie, i've heared great things about it but it still was a pleasant surprise. Well Written, Perfect Soundtrack, Good Actors in the form of Zach Braff (also writer and director) and Natalie Portman. Portman really gives the movie its heart and soul, and really makes the movie what it is. Hard to describe but a defenite must see for any movie fan

I just watched House of Wax because my girl thought it would be "fun"

If it wasn't for Paris Hilton taking a pipe through the brain, the movie was a complete waste of time.

And I watched Office Space in my business and professional communications class. <3.

    The Boondock Saints

Irish brothers Connor & Murphy MacManus live and work in Boston. Feeling that God's will to rid Earth from all human Evil was given to them as a mission, they set out to do their divine deed. A public outcry is never heard, and even FBI agent Paul Smecker, who follows their trace of bloodshed, admits that the boys are doing exactly what he secretly always has wished to happen. Risking their lives for their beliefs of Veritas (truth) and Aequitas (justice), the Boondock Saints are hyped by the public, for they are doing good, which only few dare to admit.

Kick ass action movie. I recommend this movie if you like shoot em ups, crime, mafia type movies. I thought it had a good plot, good characters, and it's a fun movie to watch.

I watched The Sum of All Fears for the third time a few days ago. A little hokey and Ben Affleck is a terrible Jack Ryan but the mechanics of the start of a nuclear war is interesting.

Disturbia - Very good. Nice modernisation of the Rear Window idea.
Idiocracy - Very funny, a good way to spend 90min
