I'd say it's better than the saloon.

Does anybody know the E# of this car? Is it E90 like the saloon, or will it have its own number (E91 or something like that)?

I would assume E90 since the past 3-series have all shared the same code, coupe and sedan.

Yes, but they do it the other way this time. The sedan is E90, estate is E91 and Coupe (I found it) is E92.

Also the other models have different numbers: 6 series Coupe: E63, convertible: E64.

    5 series sedan E60, estate E61.

It's like I don't even know BMW anymore. Makes me sad.

At least initially, the top-of-the-line 335 will be joined by a N/A 3.0 I6 model. BMW chose to call it 328, maybe to distinguish it from its sedan counterparts, the 325 and 330. AFAICanTell, all four use a 3 litre six in different states of tune.

    From bmwusa.com press release.

The performance potential of this new 300 horsepower engine ensures that the 335i Coupe offers a significant improvement in performance while maintaining a level of efficiency for which the BMW 3 Series is renowned. The 335i Coupe will be joined in the U.S. by the 230 horsepower 328i Coupe...

The new 3 Series Coupe will come standard in the U.S. with xenon adaptive headlights, accented by BMW’s corona light rings. The corona light rings not only serve as daytime running lights, but also draw attention to BMW’s characteristic four round headlights, making this new Coupe instantly recognizable as a BMW, day or night...

The 335i Coupe accelerates from 0 - 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds...

The new engine in the 328i Coupe offers 230 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. With 0 - 60 mph acceleration in just 6.2 seconds, this new "entry-level" Coupe is quicker than the previous top-of-the-line 330Ci Coupe...

I think the side is beautiful. The front looks a little weird from some angles though. The back has cool lights, dunno if I like the styling of the rear bumper+dual exhausts.

I agree, but I still can't get round that dual exhaust arrangement on the 335i, for some reason it just looks wrong.

    I agree.

The boot has had the best improvement yet. Really it has.

In the sedan it was just sticking out like an ass that wasn't attractive. With this they've soothed it out. It looks better than the 5 and 7 series.

The 6 (with the exception of boot) and Z4 are good though.

Definitely better looking than the sedan, but I don't lust after it like the E36, E46 coupes. Maybe the new M3 will look better, but based on the M5/M6 I'm not going to hold my breath.
