    isn't there a workshop somewhere that replaces the engine on these porsches with a subaru sti engine? or was that a different model

    Egg Nog once posted a link to a shop that puts Chevy small blocks in 944s. I have the link in the favorites folder in my old computer.

    nah... this was putting subaru flat fours in porsches... might have been an old rear engined model though i don't remember!

    Don't forget the 944 Turbo, it was capable of 0-60 in 6.5 secs. That was a good time back then.
    And the thing is the 944 Turbo S, was faster than the 911 (now I don't remeber if it was the N/A or the Turbo one, but still).
    Lack of charisma can be fatal.

    I raced in one today, as a passenger . The 0-60 is actually 6 seconds but the owner had tuned it to do it in 5 seconds. More infor and pics tormorrow!
