    Ford Mondeo ST220 parts ?

I was wondering where I could find parts for the Mondeo duratec 3.0 I read it's a basic duratec 3.0 like in the american taurus just larger intake manifolds, valves and higher lift cams. if this is the case I wouldn't mind puttin' them in my 3.0 for the extra 20 horses. and I was also wondering if the 3.0 optioned the MTX-75. hmm larger valves.. maybe heads too ? maybe I just need someone to wreck their brand new Mondeo for me to scavange through. or I guess another question would be will any of this work...

    any help appreciated.

    transplanted in Kentucky USA....

Ever since I got my Taurus all I've heard is how there are no real engine upgrades except for those you make or are borrowed from the SHO model.

It looks like all the 3.0 mods came in '04 so maybe they'll be hard to find.

Maybe I just need to get some microfilm for it and grab the parts #s and see what US dealers can do.

It's in this section cause I didn't know anything about it. I had only heard someone from Australia talk about it so I presumed.... I guess it should be in European then.... They came out with the V6 Mondeo this year ... I'm pretty sure. 220 HP 155 top mph 18in wheels.....

Well there are some inconsistancies w/the HP and top mph though. I've seen up to 226 HP and top mph down to 146....

Yeh the mondeo and Taurus are imports to aus. we dont make them here, even the windscreen wipers and indicators are round the opposite way and makes it very confusing to drive

yeh dont get new models of either so yeh, sorry mate

oh and BTW, PAMS was a mistype... you figure it out FPV...

New Zealand gets the new Mondeo though, but still, maybe some of the european members can be of "assistance"
