    Bloc Party

How many of you like Bloc Party? They are pretty good, a friend told me about them.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

They are very good infact. Kele or however it is spelt is a pretty awesome guitarist. I'm just slightly worried they are going a bit ... techno. Better techno than pop sellouts though

Block parties are common in the less affluent neighborhoods here in Mexico. The problem with them is...what if all you want is to stay home and relax? With the loud music and all, you can't.

I think he was talking about a band, Hector...
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

I knew that, just seeing if you're paying attention.

    I think they're utter garbage.

I'd rather carve lyrics for Shania Twain out on my wrist than listen to their full album.

    OK.

I'd rather lob myself off a cliff whilst getting my fingernails torn out with electrified pliers than listen to that album.

    Better?

I've only heard their song Helicopter, and although i think they're hard to understand (maybe i'm just not good with the accent), i still enjoy listening to that song quite alot.

Bloc Party rocks my socks. They're catchy as hell, Silent Alarm was one of 2005's best releases.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

They sound like a less perverted rip off of Louis XIV
