they need to make the standard one have 220 hp or so, maybe use the KA24 as a block even, since they need the torque due to the wieght gained by this model....1350kg is unacceptable!
ideally they should trim 100 - 150 kg off it...but with safety requirements and refinement they need to meet to sell them... might be difficult for them?

I'm pretty sure the standard Civic Type R in Japan already has 220 hp, but everybody else gets screwed.

Mazda FTW. This car's nifty, but too little for too much to be very special. Honda isn't exactly a coveted name.
I dont if I'll make home tonight

I think only one thing can be added in regard to what you said...

Who cares if it's not available here? I'm actually happy it isn't. I suppose the Japanese can buy this wet-dream machine (Zomg 120 hp/litre!!) for the 40,000. I won't lose any sleep over it.

If I wanted a civic with a bodykit and a tuned engine I'd hit up the dozens of Mexicans sporting similar rides in North Jersey.

Mazda? If you want a great hot hatch it has to be French. Preferably a Renault these days.

spot on for me, as far as hot hatches go frenchies tend to have the least pretentions. technically its a mix bag though. The mazda is not particularly special at all in mind. The clio 197 is tempting car. Back to the point, trouble is hot hatches arent made to sell for too much, the 130i is a classic example of overpricing and badge worth issues. (i'd have a golf gti though )

Err .... I suggest you better go get some pro to translate for you again.... that one sucks... (aren't you from US ? don't you think grammatically it's really really wrong? )

p.s. - Chinese language is one of the hardest to translate to english, getting the meaning over is relatively easy, but the flair ain't ....

Here the price would be significantly lower than the current Type-R.

That's my point, I used a translator program to make it into Engrish to make it sound hilarious.

    Engrish > regular translated Chinese.
