Why the Nissan VQ35DE sucks?

whats goin on guy and girls the reason the VQ35DE makes this clicking sound is because of a few cheap poor quality parts mainly the "TIMING CHAIN SPROCKET" not worth it to fix unless you do it yourself won't cause any problems just annoying , if anything swap it out

Hahah, I still have a VQ in my old '04 Altima. I don't think it sucks, it's actually quite a pushy little monster. Even generates a good bit of torque steer if you slam it, unfortunately the motor's in dire need of an overhaul, it only produces 212-ish HP at the moment. :P
