Does anyone here recall a some kind of concept car that looked like a defender with a rolls-royce merlin shoved under the bonnet?

Wow, I'm not sure if that's horrible or cool. It could really go either way, I guess, depending on execution.

Wouldn't it be a bit awkward to drive offroad? Taking into consideration how long it is.

The most powerful options available to buy will be able to churn out an impressive 700 break horse power.
Thats a lot of broken horses, I don't think PETA will approve.
Horsepower wins races. Torque pulls trailers.

Its built off an existing Land Rover chassis, and they make no mention of lengthening it. If its awkward it would be moreso from the rearward seating position and the effect on visibility.
