Does anyone have any info on this car? There's some serious gossip going around, hope they really produce a brand new Camaro

I like it a lot more than the last Camaro. But I think Chevy might be going to try and match Ford's new Mustang with the retro-styling

That's totally retro and I love it.
I've always loved the Camero SS to begin with

the first three pics are fake. Popular Hot Rodding did a feature on it, it was done by a college kid who wanted to be an automotive designer. He did another one too.
there is rumors that the car might go to showroom on 2007(search google or yahoo for links) tho there is still no pictures, there is some info on it.

All very old concept drawings. Ive heard that the f-bodies are coming back pretty soon, i think GM is keeping hush hush about it though.
While everyone else is at it, I guess I'll go ahead and post a pic of a conceptual image I've got. All are along the same theme of the previously posted pics, so, maybe there's some truth to this rumor(fingers crossed). If this becomes reality then please please please make sure it's rear drive and has a nice big V-8(LS2 anyone?)

Why would they bring back the F-body...I mean they did kill it and they have stopped selling any for several years. Maybe becasue of the popularity of the new Mustang they think they can bring it back. Hopefully, it was a pretty raw car. Pushrod V8... Hopefully in the low 5's.
even if the retro looking camaro is a fake concept chevy should take note, it may be following the mustange with the retro styling but hot damn does i look good, throw in one of the new GM V8's, a 6 speed, and IRS and you'd have a winner, then throw in a LS6 or the new LS7 as a SS model, that would convert a few mustang enthusiasts

These concepts look a lot more compact than the last generation camaro/firebird. If you remember, back in 1967 when the Camaro was introduced, it was considered quite small, not quite a compact but close. Back then, a compact was to them, what a subcompact is to us now. I wouldn't mind seeing a compact Camaro about the same size as the current cavalier/sunfire. (As long as it's RWD, seats 5, and cheap!) In fact, I've been waiting a while for a proper RWD compact. It wouldn't necessarily need a v8, as long as it gets to 60 in less than 6 seconds. I love the new srt4, turbocharged with an awesome warranty.
Life begins @ 200 MPH
There's no replacement for displacement.
GM will probably consider a new Camaro when the Zeta architecture is released. The new VE Commodore and 2007 Pontiac GTO are going to be built off it afterall
I am the Stig
I think that it Chevolet is trying to be like the new Ford Mustang. BUt it is Lookin sweet!

Sorry but there will not be a Camaro or Firebird in the near future. In Road & Track they cleared it up. GM said that the cars were built in Canada, and when they stopped making them they signed an agreement that stated that no other cars would bear the Camaro or Firebird names, but that doesn't mean chevy have a Zeta platform car.
