Chris Cornell's. He put it on sale sometime after he left Audioslave I think.

My dad started a video editing / media / something company a while back that never worked out... he spent thousands on equipment, sold some stuff afterwards, etc. Yesterday I found this beauty at his house, bought a $19.99 DVI to Mini DVI cable at the Apple store and voila!

I was just checking to see if it was working fine by connecting it in front of my wife's 17" Imac. Tomorrow I will give her my desk and fix everything up so that one screen can be next to the other. She's been wanting a 24" Imac for a while now since she's graduating next year as a Graphic Designer, so this 23" screen free arrived at the right time

Wow. :O My school's selling them for $100+ bucks a pop.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    Got the D200 today...

Took a pic with the same settings on each camera... ISO 200, F2.8, 1/250 for the D200 and the D2x. The D100 couldn't hang with 1/250 flash sync, so I had to kick it down to 1/180 and F3.3. At any rate then I ran them all through photoshop and hit some USM and scaled to 50% - All shot in highest res fine jpeg. Over the weekend I hope to get some other shots in low light with higher ISO, to check out the noise differences in low light situations. At any rate, here are the pics...

Don't the older DSLRs have a flash sync speed of 1/500th? I know that at least the D40 and the D70 both have that.

Hmm, seemed like it was just 1/250th, which I thought I had it set to... I'll have to double check tonight.

I know that it exists for the lower end models, perhaps it is available on the higher end older ones.

Interesting to note the that in my opinion the D2x handled the exposure the best out of the three.

Also, there is a gap in the Nikon DSLR lineup- there's no high end DX camera, for if you want the crop factor.

I agree - I think the D2x did the best as well.

Yeah, if you want the DX crop factor, which I do, you have to go with the D2x or D300, for the high end...

I bought some computer parts for my friend (with his money obviously):

    Asust P6T SE mobo
OCZ Platinum 6GB Triple Channel DDR3-1600 RAM
HIS Radeon HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 video card
    Intel Core i7 920 processor
    WD 750GB SATA-II 7200 rpm hard disk
+ case, 750W PSU, DVD Burner

$1,530.61 for a brand new computer, and a very powerful one at that.

I'm full of hate right now. I might try to give him mine and keep his after I'm done building it.

DVD of Mintex Dales, RAC Britain and Scottish rallies from 1973.
CLark in the Escort along with Minis, Saabs, Imps, Opels and Volvos
Great seeing some of them struggling through the saem stages as are used today
Might even turn up on the RAC and Scottish vids as a spectator
