This concept is useful because people of the future will be able to determine a car's age by the intensity of its wrinkles. At high speed the body will start to balloon and wiggle like a cat in a bathtub in the same fashion as a motorcyclist's rain jacket. That way you save your brakes. Man, us Germans, we are smart folks. What will we think of next. I'd hate to see what would happen if someone tried to key it .

Visca Catalunya!
i seen the video for the car in my auto class. i could not believe what i was seeing. its a car with [I]skin[I] and eyes. the way the hood opens up is neat because of the fact that the engine is supposed to look like ribs. Bangle is genious. period.

PINGAS!!!!
Does anyone know if there's been any word on what this is made of? Seems like you'd be able to do it pretty easily with a mylar/silicone/mylar sandwich provided the mounting point stresses could be distributed appropriately. Would be cool to see a car with arches over the wheels and an articulated "body" framework that let you see the suspension move the body.
