Here is a photo of it with one of my cars parked behind it...

Looks nice. How's he finding it? Have you been tempted by the Dark Side into considering buying a modern Japanese car?
Also, is that a tape deck I spy in the centre console? I didn't realise they still made new cars with tape decks!
P.S. I wish it was that bright and sunny in December over here!

He does like it. A big move up from what he was driving for the last 9 or so years (a high-mileage, 4-cylinder '89 Nissan Sentra with faded paint and a generous amount of dents).
No way! His taste in cars and mine are quite different. However, he does like my Lincoln. He borrowed it many times when he had to drive somewhere far.Have you been tempted by the Dark Side into considering buying a modern Japanese car?
I know it has a CD player. I didn't notice if it has a tape deck. Also, is that a tape deck I spy in the centre console? I didn't realise they still made new cars with tape decks!
Lol. There are some very nice days out here in December. It is great for bike riding or just out cruising.P.S. I wish it was that bright and sunny in December over here

Did you try it out, fleet? If so, how was it?

He took me for a ride the day after he bought it. He did say before he bought it that he would let me drive it. That hasn't happened yet, but I will "remind" him again. No rush, though, since he told me he plans to own it for at least 5 years.
As a passenger, it seemed to run quiet. It wasn't broken in yet so he didn't drive it hard.
The interior was comfortable enough, but the seats are too firm for me (I like nice soft seats).

I do not expect any single vehicle to be perfect in all categories as so many do, how absurd. I knew at the time of purchase after two test drives what the TL was and what it was not. I can only say that the level of engineering excellence as demonstrated by this car - and that of my wife's TSX is simply mind-boggling.
I've owned 2 BMW's, very good, but nowhere to the level of the Acura, as well, a Lexus which we sold after 8 months due to a series of constant problems.
Honda - ACURA, thank you. You have designed such wonderfully fun, totally reliable vehicles.

nice ..... but true ... parked next to that 'OTHER' car .... the TL does looked owned.
BTW, would love to see a frontal crash test between the two .... would love to see the smaller one puncture the larger one.... possible?

Yup, it is possible.

Ouch...with gas hitting $4 a gallon here, you must shell out big bucks for your Cadillac.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
