    2009 Corvette ZR1 LS9 Engine

New ZR1 supercharged LS9 engine with approx 650-700hp. Forget the lowly 380hp Nissan GTR, this things hunting Zondas, Carrera GT, and Koenigsegg.

That is fantastic packaging of the charger and intercooler
    Liek it.
Anyone know what they do to prevent heat trasnfer from the blocks to the intercooler over long term ? It looks liek the water interchange pipes are run along the top and no buffer on the bottom. Any pics of the bottom casting ?

    That's different.

    Define fast.

Tricky... I used to think my '87 Fiero GT was fast. Then one night a Diablo passed me on the 405 at... well, I'd be guessing, but I only knew it was a diablo from the tail-lights. I don't think the Fiero is fast anymore... But then of course, compared to a karman Ghia, it is...

This car though, this car is going to be fast.

He does have a point. While I'm note sure that it will beat a Zonda or a CGT on a track, it may beat them in a straight line.

I love the blue highlights on the engine. Looks fantastic.

    521KW for this huge V8
    353KW for the skylines V6

I'd damn well expect it to be faster with that much power in its favor.

If I read his point correctly, it's that he thinks such comparisons are beneath this motor... and I find myself bound to agree.
