It's worth it if you justify it for the Blue Ray. It's still much cheaper than most players out there, but yes, there will definitely be a heavier drop in price soon.

You do know that sony just dropped the price of their cheapest stand alone player to $499, so the ps3 is no longer the cheapest blu-ray out there.
