    its called a SINKEX.. they do it to test survivability of the ships, and the lethality of our weapons... cool stuff. I havent been a apart of one yet, but then again my ship doesn't have weapons systems capable of that.

    lol, torpedoes aren't the reason battleships are obsolete, aircraft carriers are.
