    FIAT to sell Ferrari?

Maserati, which was recently under Ferrari management will now be joined with Alfa Romeo. Fiat bigwigs say that Maserati simply must utilise high volume platforms to be profitable. And Maserati needs broader distribution than Ferrari could provide. Many guess that another reason for seperation is that it gives ailing Fiat an opportunity to sell Ferrari.

So who will be the new owner of Ferrari?

They plan on floating Ferrari, and for a better price they had to get rid of Maserati.

FIAT won't sell outright, that's their only profitible arm. Stock float makes a lot of sense though.

    meh

i imagine something in the 15+billion area(if it were to be an out-right sale)....i dont know what the "company worth" is...but schumy gets $40,000,000 a year so and thats got to be a small fraction of the whole spending of the race dept....so i have no clue

but with out a doubt an 11-digit price tag
