I always had another opinion on the issue but could never word it correctly! Intensity, not sure if you are new to forums but it's not widely accepted to dig up multi-year deceased threads, although in this situation you provided a reasonable and intelligent post. Thus, it's not that bad.

This whole buisness of winning wars is crap. In war there are no winners.
why cant we just live in peace... Imagine all the people, Living life in peace ... hmm someone should write a song about that.
John Lennon- Imagine... lol, I feel stupid if everybody got that but didn't say anything because it was too obvious.

And a nation that's never been to war is Malta.

I think we can safely say that about Luxemburg, Andorra, San Marino, Monaco and Liechtenstein as well....

the russians lost the cold war. i think that counts as a loss. plus they lost in afghanistan.

we lost vietnam, plain and simple.

Finland i think lost the great northern war although i dont know if finland was technically a country then. correct me if im wrong.

The Cold War wasn't a war- it was a political conflict- stop identifying it as a war, and yes Russia lost in Afghanistan even though by US definition it wasn't a loss but they choose to have double standards and call it a loss.

    US also lost in Cuba.

Finland has been a country for a long time.

It's not the "Dutch", it's the "Dirty Dutchmen" (at the time a popular Pom phrase for the Boere).

And it wasn't you that "kicked the Dutch's asses", it was you, the British, the Canadians, the Indians, the Rhodesians and every other nation under the British Empire pre 1901. Primarily the British that did the kicking, you were back-up at best.

EDIT: Just realized even the New Zealanders jumped in...

    Wars suck.

I'm reading a book about war. Check it out. My teacher recommended it to me.

Well we got marched out of Vietnam with the U.S. and we are currently floundering around in Iraq and Afghanistan so it’s only a matter of time there also.

There was no rebellion against the British in Canada, and we were very heavily involved in WW2. Don't come into a forum calling people ignorant withought knowing your history.
