not that some one is going to miss Kawasaki in MotoGP, but the grid was already too empty (remember the old good says of the 500 Class?)

Like SBK last year at least, big chunky starting grids.

It's possible to have 30 bike grid in SBK this year and only 17 in Motogp.

Wow, that's nuts. Who does that leave? Honda, Ducati and Suzuki?
I don't really follow it, so I wouldn't know. Wouldn't expect some major company like Kawasaki to leave like that.

Kawasaki are probably pulling out because of the big boss (Kawasaki Heavy Industries) having a hard time at the moment. And the motorcycle division can't be all that healthy either.

I couldn't agree more. I hope all these withdrawals (Honda F1, Subaru WRC, Porsche LMP2) from motorsport don't start a huge trend in the following months. In a sense it already has though.
