Known as De Tomaso Bigua before the De Tomaso/Qvale partnership ended and the car was rebadged as Qvale.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Whatever happened to the Guarà Coupè? I went to a motorshow a few years back where they said it would be displayed but they never turned up.

They're out of business I think. I haven't heard anything about De Tomaso since 2004. I hope it will be revived soon.

Edit: Checked. De Tomaso went bankrupt in 2004. In the end of 1990s De Tomaso had financial problems and teamed with Qvale to build Bigua (later renamed Mangusta). But they had an argue and split just after the beginning of production in 2000. Qvale took the car and the factory, De Tomaso was left with the name. They signed an agreement with UAZ to assemble off-road vehicles in Modena, but it too failed and the company was put into liquidation.
BTW, Qvale also didn't do well. Between 2000 and 2002 it produced around 270 cars and in 2003 sold the factory and the rights to car to MG Rover (R.I.P.). The Mangusta was basis for the MG X-Power SV/SV-R which was produced in there.
