    Jeez...now that's a perk!

I genuinely think though that Hamilton really wants to be a "good guy" in motorsport. It's typical sod's law that just as he entered the sport and deserved success, his team were shrouded in controversy.

Hopefully now he'll be given the chance to really go for it and shine. This season is going to be one hell of a show.

A bit of a downgrade, considering BMW lent him an E39 M5 during his early years.

Anyway, I hope Lewis asked for the matching fitted luggage and a pair of bitches in the L/R seats to keep him company.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I wouldn't call an E39 M5 to an NSX a "downgrade"...but what's interesting is that you couldn't replace the M5 with the NSX if you still wanted to use the practicality of the Beemer.

Somehow I don't think he'll have any problems there...!

On this note, what do you guys think the best company car the F1 guys (or anyone else) have had is?

    Or what's your favourite?

I can't think of any. Schumacher's Enzo or FXX is pretty damn sweet.

If Lewis gets the LM though, I think it'll take the cake.

    Felipe Massa's Fiat 500.

    Can't remember if that's a rumor, tho.

No, he got one. With the 1.4-litre engine tuned to 120bhp (standard: 100bhp).

I love it how that car's value has tripled in just over 10 years. Its a bonust that will be worth 10M in another 10 years.

I thought the offer to get the car was tied to winning both the Drivers and Constructors Championships this year only?

Regardless it would be a very nice perk. The team had better work on altering the pit-lane speed system soon though, less we have a repeat of last year.

Can someone explain exactly what "pressing the limiter" is? From the sounds it is a way to limit the engine from its potential.

It limits the car to 80 km/h, it's the maximum speed allowed in the pit lane. Drivers press it before entering the pits to avoid speeding penalties.

    Nice!

If he's that desperate for a win, this is one of the best ways to achieve that goal!

What Hamilton's left thumb...oops, wrong button...then watch him frantically trying to shift gears (with his right hand) and get back up to speed as cars stream by ending his glorious chance at the title.
