And here's the magic stuff! Big thanks goes out to Peloton25 for showing/posting these shots elsewhere.
Even bigger thanks goes to Scott for taking these pictures and being so kind as to show them in the first place.

The wheels were color-matched to the car at the time those photos were taken - it looked great like that I think. The car is #009 and resides in Australia. Original owner was Dean Wills, then Tony Raftis bought it, and he eventually sold it on to Barry Fitzgerald. It's the only McLaren F1 in Australia now, though there were two GTRs there in Raftis' posession for a short period of time too.

This shot could really be posted in three different threads, but the road car is most prominant so here it is. I made this image from scans of two pages from McLaren's RacingLine magazine, cleaning up a large gap in between, so it's not perfect. It's the first hires version of this shot I have ever seen and I've wanted one forever as I'm sure others have too, so hopefully there will be no complaints.

Sure thing - I am glad you like it.

Somewhat Off Topic - I have been meaning to ask you if you had a larger version of this old school McLaren image that you used to use as your avatar? If so, I'd really like to have it for the collection.

I love the "F1 Family" one. I wish someone would do another car like this - every thing being ultra-high quality, costing a million but they lose money on it even so.....Imagine how sick that car would be.
