This weekend, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Goodwood Revival along with close to 200,000 other enthusiasts. The magical step back in time once again featured all the familiar ingredients that make it one of the most revered of all historic racing meetings. These included the two-part St. Mary's Trophy for Touring cars, the blue ribband RAC Tourist Trophy Celebration and the more recently added Kinrara Trophy with the most valuable grid of the weekend consisting of early 1960s GT cars. These, along with the other groups, provided for some top level racing from the opening Kinrara Trophy on Friday evening through to the Sussex Trophy that concluded the action Sunday afternoon. In addition to the races there were special parades celebrating the R.R.C. Walker Racing Team and the Goodwood Revival's 20th anniversary. The late Dan Gurney was also remembered each day through parade laps of his Belgian Grand Prix winning Eagle Mark 1. Further highlights included the Settrington Cup for pedal powered Austin J40s that saw future Revival stars in action.
As always, we were on hand to capture all the highlights. The result is this class-by-class 270-shot gallery that serves to illustrate a comprehensive report.
