    Indeed Hamilton did drive the Liana, as it would just be a bit dumb if they put him out in a different car to what the other F1 drivers had.

    considering that hamilton was so laid back. And a wet lap is supposed to take off..something like atleast half a second off your lap time?..that mean's he would absolutely destroy stig's lap time on the dry. Its quite amazing how he managed that lap time in those conditions while being so laid back. Can't wait to see him back in the grand prix next year.

    If it's power and braking performance limited rather than grip there may not be such a big difference. They always said the Stig reckoned wet was worth 3 seconds. I've never been convinced of that given the track layout. Hope he does come back in the dry as offered as I concur he will blast the Stigs numbers

    What was "interesting" was that Hamilton used the Stigs line whilst every other F1 driver had gone their "classic route".

    4 seconds is quite a bit. A few guests went around in the wet and if you subtract 4 seconds from them, they would top the stig.
