I think he means that the black 512, shown in picture number 4 of post number one is actually wide-bodied as compared to all the others, as with some of the other black pictures.

Tech nerd top tip: the engine wasn't really a boxer, it was a 180 degree flat 12.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
The CoG was high because the engine was sat atop the gearbox, rather than running them in line. If it was a V then they'd either've had to make it longer or even higher. As to why call it a boxer.. not know. Maybe to try and sound interesting? Their F1 car at the time had a flat 12 too, so it could've been to try and tie it to F1 tech, though I don't think that was a boxer either. Maybe even just because 'boxer' sounded good at the time, as you say.

As far as I know, there are no "true" boxer 12s, not even in the Porsche 917. I think that the "boxer" terminology make the engine configuration sound cool, and the configuration is physically similar externally, but it's not a true "boxer". All the Porsche and Ferrari boxer 12s, and Alfa Romeo's sports car boxer 12, were 180 deg flat V12s. A true boxer engine has one rod per crank pin, while all these flat V-12s have two per pin, like a normal V12. A flat V12 is lighter and shorter for that reason, while having a lower CG than a normal 60 degree V12, or a 90 degree (Audi R10) or 100 degree (Peugeot 908 first gen).
Power to me is having the ability to make a change in a positive way. Don't dream it, be it.

This got me confused, is it a 512i BB or a 512 BBi ?
512 BBi me thinks!
Badge of the car in the back clearly says "BB 512i".
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
