It was a fiarly tough decision but I have to say the Porsche Cayenne. Although I see alot more cayennes than G55's the cayenne still wins.

ok.....just based on pure looks, id say cayenne. the mercedes..........looks like they tried saving as much money as possible on this car and alot of it came out of the design department..........

G for me. I don't know how good an offroader the AMG-ized version is, but at least it has its basis in a REAL truck with awesome offroading capabilities. The Cayenne, to me, is just a ridiculous.

It's basically the Austrian Hummer, designed for military specifications, then brought to the civi market as well.

    heehee im back lol!
Anyways, G55 AMG only because they're seen less, and the Cayenne's front is a bit fugly from any angle. The G55 has a better powertrain too imo. Also it'll be funny to see a G55 AMG blast off a BMW when you'd suspect a Cayenne to do so...

Yeah I have to admit that as ugly as it is, the G is appealing in the same way the Hummer is - it's just so tough looking.

The G55. It isn't offensively ugly like the Cayenne.
