27 Liter engine... possibly just a tiny little bit excessive?

I seem to recall this being in EVO a while back. I'm off to look for that issue...

From memory, guy found/bought a 27,000cc Merlin engine and had an Rolls Royce sitting around, so he decided to mate the two.
IIRC it wasn't all that quick under acceleration, but had a - rather rattly - high top speed. It's been featured in several magazines, I recall reading about it in at least one.

    Paul Jameson

Apparently John Dodd has died, and Paul Dodd now owns the Beast in Spain. Whatever became of Paul Jameson?

My ex Boss, as a kid, worked in a RR dealer in Lomdon, and got to know Dodd pretty well.
He was nearly sued by RR over having a RR grille and Flying Lady on the thing...

And yes, it really is Butt Ugly!

I think it looked better with the RR grille and hood ornament. The second, current grille with the curved edges is too plastic-looking. The headlight design/layout could be better, too, but I'd probably let it slide...

(Wasn't there a second thread on here discussing the this car? Maybe I'm imagining things)

The Pontiac Aztec was worse. That thing looks like a miniature garbage truck.

Do you think the car's first incarnation with the brick red paintjob was better?
