I fill my car as often as Rocke's mom. Which is pretty often.

I usually get about 5 weeks outta my tank, which is 36 gallons. Maybe 6 if I really pushed it. I actually don't drive that much.

Back when I had the Mustang, it had a paltry tank for a V8-powered vehicle, I could go MAYBE two weeks if I was really good.

I either make long trips or sporadic short ones. Therefore I can only say: About every 900 km....

    - '69 Fleetwood Brougham... refuel every one to two months
    - '76 Fleetwood Limo... refuel every two to four weeks
    - '95 Lincoln Town Car... refuel an average of every two weeks

I refuel when the fuel gauge goes down to 1/4. I rarely fill up completely- I just put in $20 or $25 worth.

Distance wise, mine comes out to every 330 km or so, I never let get below half a tank.

just think how much weight could have been saved by installing just a half-size tank

I normally fill it up to a little bit more than 3/4

My car does about 22km to a Litre

I carpool with a colleage so I don't have to fill it up as often, maybe once a month?
