Enes, I was thinking that this was based on the 911, but in this video it almost looks like it is on a cayman platform. or is it a bespoke chassis?

    either way, lovely car.
The only thing at this car which is from Porsche is the front end (the headlights and the fronthood ... for crash reasons). The rest is all made by 9ff. The wheelbase is also longer than the 911 one. There is a tubeframe under the carbon fiber/kevlar body. This makes the car as light as possible. 1375kg and 1120hp are very impressive. By the way ... also impressive 4th gear up to 310kmph ;o)

    THAT is one nice find.
Can anyone point me at specs for it ?
Let's jsut hope all the chavs are listeneing to the comment about tyres making handling WORSE ( Personal grudge, I hate seeing cars with tiny profile tyres on huge rims and owners saying how well it handles

was it just me or did he over commit to a few corners and forget to downchange at the end of the straight?

You drive a 24h race differently.
One much more protective of the drivetrain.
Brake pads you can change each stop. Brake discs can also be changed quickly. But you screw a box and the pit crew lynch you

So sounds like he's choosing to NOT use engine braking and only changing down when he/she(?)) needs to before applying drive. There are also some corners on the circuit where you don't' WANT to change down to the most powerful gear because the lower speeds mean less grip and more torque and the wheel just means a quicker spin out

Minf you your analysis WB is also possible as there do seem to be a coupl eof "OH SHIT" moments from the camera angle

Nice vid and really brings to attention how scary that era cars were when sharing track space with the slower GTs
