    I see. Bummer.

Oh well; it'd still look good in whatever colour you choose, but make it dark.....suits the nature of the beast.

I'd like my cars in Silver, Blue or Black. But if I were getting your car for free I wouldn't mind what color it would be.

Well the Metorite silver I'm going for is is the darkest metallic grey they have on the standard colour range.

If you havent tried it, here is the configurator. http://www.astonmartin.com/configura...d=UL&x=13&y=10

I went with the following options.

    Left Hand Drive
    Colours
    Car Body Colour Tungsten Silver
    Brake Calipers Red
    Upper Leather Colour Obsidian Black
    Lower Leather Colour Obsidian Black
    Seat Outer Colour Obsidian Black
    Seat Inner Colour Obsidian Black
    Type of Stitching Coarse
    Interior Stitching Colour (coarse) Red
    Seat Stitching Colour (coarse) Red
    Carpet Colour Obsidian Black
    Carpet Stitching Colour Red
    Headlining Colour Black
    Seatbelts Flint
    Standard Features
    Rear Parking Distance Sensors
    Tyre Pressure Monitoring
    Bright Finish Window Surround
    Options
    Bright Finish Front Grille
    Powerfold Mirrors
Xenon Headlamps (with auto-levelling and powerwash)
    Satellite Navigation System
    Aston Martin Audio System (700W)
Smoker's Pack - Ashtray and Cigar Lighter
    Cruise Control

Added Bluetooth as well, not listed here. Just became available. The standard dash trim is very nice. I even like it better than the piano black.

Here's a photo of me and my daughter at the V8 Vantage tour.
2nd is a shot of the three cars that were on display
3rd is the CG of what mine is going to look like. After owning two 911's (996's) I am really looking forward to something new.

BTW- Even if you don't smoke(like me) Get the smokers pack it gives you a flip top to hide the power outlet and a very nice crystal ashtray!

I'm personally going to go for a lighter interior, than the black, but it does look great.

Other than that our spec lists are almost identical, baring the smokers pack - it is just the ashtray, the flip top is standard.

I have no children, but here the law prevents airbags being switched off, so your daughter would not be as safe in the passenger seat in the event of an accident.

This is a tempting colour for the interior, but I'm still tempted by sandstorm. There is a car coming here in that before my final spec date, so I will get to see photos of that.

I was going to switch to Oyster Silver but it was too late. It is gorgeous too!
It looks best with the brown interior.

    Meteroite

I was considering the Oyster, but I think its a better colour for the DB9.

The Kahn wheels look a lot loke the 9's, Id love to get to ones they had on the proto.

Some more Meteroite AMV8 pics for those who havent seen them, and me sitting (unusually) in the passengers seat.

Mine arrives at the end of this March. I had a deposit down for 2 years. I am going to have one of the first cars in the U.S. I am obviously stoked

The wheels on the Prototype are suprizingly available. I saw them mounted on a new Vanquish.

This was the wheel on the proto for those that don't know, offset could be an issue though
