I wonder what's going to happen with his stake in HSV.

That sums it up pretty convincingly. He will not be favourably remembered by some whom he owed money to or made promises to. (a certain Jos Verstappen springs to mind).
Apart from that his achievements are undeniable and his name will live on forever in the acronym TWR.

geez ay, the parting of a notable gent in the motoring world. some may knock 'the plastic pig' (otherwise known as a VL commodore with an lsd inspired body kit) as looking like a turd with frills, but i was fortunate enough to go for a ride in one back in my younger days when i was about 20. sure, this had a bit of work done to it and was well looked after, but i came away from the ride thinking that was a damn quick car. it wasnt gumpert quick, but it could carve up most quad-turbocharged and mcdonalds happy meal infused rice boxes no problem and with a nice 'i will eat you alive' v8 roar to back up its show pony looks. here's a salute to tom. my condolences to his family.
