    England lost, Scotland didn't.
The Romans had to build 2 walls across the country to keep us from beating the cr@p out of them.
You can still see many of the forts along the wall and walk on it the breadth of the country.

I dont think its fair to say Australia hasnt lost a war, we havvent been around anywhere as long as the UK and the US etc, and the major wars that actually get recognition, we're usually used as pawns

well not everyone likes their antics turned against them, and when youve got the power to do something about it, most people think "why not?"

is surrendering losing? or do you have to have lost a life in a war and then lost to be considered "losing"?

if you can surrender and not lose, france

How could England loose if England wasn't a country then?

Also there wasn't really a "war" against the Romans, more of a hostile takeover.
Embraced by some of the British tribes, because they operated as a sort of Roman "franchise" so became rich and powerful.

There were other tribes who didn't want the Romans to be there, so they faught them. (And lost, eventually)
    Thanks for all the fish

I'd like to tell you guys how ignorant you are, let me correct all of yours mistakes:

The Cold War was not a real war, it was just a political conflict and series of Revolutionaries the USSR triggered and US fought against.

The US didn't lose the Vietnamese war by the American Definition of America losing But by most other definitions America lost, big time. What was more disgusting is the way they chose to fight in that war; chemical warfare, killing civilians, torturing, killing families to inflict fear and pain, etc.

Russia has officially lost WWI, as the treaty of Brest Letovsk stated which was signed by both Russia and Germany.

Russia also lost the Russo-Japanese war and was conquered by the Mongolians in the 12th century.

Scotland has series of wars it lost against the British, not just battles.

Canada has never been in a serious War excluding the rebellion against the British, WWII was a War it wasn't heavily involved in...

A good example of a nation that never lost a war is Cuba which defeated Spain and the US in Bay of Pigs.

I love it how they Americans refuse to acknowledge the wars they lost as "wars" due to their own created technicalities.

They claim the stalemated the British because the British attacked them and they fended them off and describe it as a war but the Cubans were in the same exact situation yet the Americans refuse to acknowledge that situation as a War.

It's all dumb bullshit, America lost against Vietnam and Cuba by UNIVERSAL definition of a lost war.

I think a more interesting question would be "what countries have NEVER been to/at war?"

This whole buisness of winning wars is crap. In war there are no winners.
why cant we just live in peace... Imagine all the people, Living life in peace ... hmm someone should write a song about that.
