    Price of Gas.

Nope, this isn't a thread about the Bloc Party song of the same name.

Anyway, now that gas prices are going down (thankfully in our current economic climate), we now have the chance to enjoy filling up our cars without having to break our piggy bank. So, I'm wondering by how much gas prices went down in your part of the world.

Today while going to work (by bus, I'm an ecolo - or too broke to buy a car, you choose) I noticed the lowest price was $0.91 CAD a litre, which is $0.40 cheaper than about 2 weeks ago. Fairly good I'd say.

(That's $0.73 USD/litre, €0.59/litre, or £0.49/litre - I can't be bothered to translate to gallons, just use the SI units like everyone does)

    (OMG I said SI units)

Yeesh that's $2.76 per gallon...the nearest station to me is about $1.83 per gallon, or $0.48 per liter.

It went down about $2. That's huge!

It was about $4.53 about a month or so ago, at its peak. Now according to the website I googled, the cheapest station in my neighborhood is selling at $2.53. Definitely a nice break. Bad economy, but hey, if you're decently good money wise, I'm sure we can all weather it out.

Last time I filled (Friday 8th) it was 96.9p per litre but now it's gone down to 95.9p per litre - it's nice being able to see the litres rising faster than the ££££s

Max. here was about €1,65/litre but now it is about €1,30/litre. I always get E5 nowadays though which is a tad bit cheaper i think. Bad move though to buy a new ride that is very very inefficient and uses like 2,5 times more than my previous (1l:10km compared to 1l:25km).

Just wondering though; how much of your income do you spend on gas ? For me it's about 40%, earning €1500 a month average.

    3.33%

I make around $600 a month (down from $1,300 :\) and only give dad about $20 lol. He doesn't want me to pay for gas but I still give him some money.

If I had my own car it would probably be around 35-40% as well.

Here some days ago 95 Unleaded and Diesel got below 1€/litre. I don't know exactly how it is now, but it must be around 0,90€/l.

To celebrate this we could buy a Challenger SRT8. Probably...
