    what year is this? i never knew there were newer ladas

    Last year. This year there aren't any Ladas entered in the WTCC. I guess the funding isn't there.

    I thought they've been out of buisness since the nineties or eighties, then argain I wouldn't know i have absolutly no knowledge about ladas.

    Here in the UK they stopped importing Lada's around 1997. I used to work at one of their service stations, it was bought out quickly by another new to UK manufacturer, Proton. (Here's where you all rofl )

    Slowly but surely after that it happened similarly in other countries. However Lada continues to produce cars but solely for its own market.

    Russian Bears Motorsport ran with Lada 110's in 2008 and last year they ran three Priora's. I think this year they're running BMW instead.

    It was reported just this month that Lada will also be one of the Renault F1 teams sponsors for this year.

    Added a couple of photos of the 110 just incase anyones curious to see it.

    I believe they still sell them here, altough the dealer network is very limited to say the least.

    Here are pictures of the 2008 110s, I will post some of the 2009 110s this afternoon.
