In a similar vein to Richard Hammond's Top Gear feature when he drove an F1 car, here is Autocar's Chris Harris driving Mark Webber's old Jaguar F1 car at an icy ()Silverstone the other week.
It should be noted that Harris is a much better driver than Hammond, so he got on rather better despite the appalling conditions. However, he still came out with the same basic impression - that the performance is absolutely mindblowing, and he gained a newfound respect for the guys who go wheel-to-wheel with each other in these things every other Sunday.
This feature is also helped by having the contribution of Martin Brundle, the best broadcast journalist in F1 by far.
