The only problem for modern turbocharged petrol engines is that they get astonishing mileage figures if you drive gently, and not so amazing ones if you go for it...

Yeah I don't know why modern car design is a competition to see which manufacturer can make the biggest grille. But that engine looks bloody impressive. Would've been great to see Volvo buck the ridiculous big grille trend though.

Not the pretiest of cars, the side profile is alright, the front not so much, melting headlights never really looked good imo, but the inside is great.

Not crazy about the looks. Another week, another 4 door coupe.

I think the reason that cars are having blunter and blunter front ends is becvause of pedestrian crash test requirements. With that larger blunter front surface comes a lot of empty space, which is usually filled up by a grille.

Once toned down a bit for production, I bet this'll be a very good looking car. Volvo's been doing well in the styling department lately.
