    Fanatec Porsche Racing Wheels...

    >>>Fanatec.com

900 Degree, 6 speed+reverse shifter, 3 pedals pedals set, compatible with Logitech G25 pedal and shifter......Priced similar to G25, and the base model(Carrera) priced similarly to DFP....

If I didn't just buy a G25 I'd seriously consider this....and if my G25 wheel ever breaks, I'd get the wheel itself to go with the G25 pedals....

    Works with PS3 and PC...

I had thought that they made the crazy 1 lug nut Porsche wheels for regular cars.

Still cool. But I don't play enough racing games to justify this purchase.

There's a lot of buzz about it but I wouldn't buy one until more get out in sim land for some realistic feedback.

I really like that new pedal set....~$200, but a load cell equipped brake...something one could appreciate if you've driven non-assisted brake on a car.....

I have ordered a set of CST(CST 3R) pedals. Fully adjustable so you can get them setup properly for heel/toe driving. I'll use my G25 wheel until it croaks then decide what to do about that.

I also ordered the stiff brake option. The iRacing staff uses these pedals, they have 10 sets I think and have had zero problems.

A lot of drivers in iRacing use them as well and rave about them.

    That's nice...and costly...lol

Why did they choose to make it top mounted?

You can actually customize them for floor hinge.

Quick question, what do you guys who have a wheel setup wear on your feet? I find that I can't judge the correct pressure to add with shoes, socks just slip around too much, and going bare foot will work for about 10 laps and then my feet will start to slip. Any suggestions?

Yeah, it's important to have good feel in sim racing because you don't have the real inertia etc.

A lot of guys find a pair of thin soled slippers or split sole wrestling shoes.

Currently I'm bare foot on the brake and a slip-on type shoe on the throttle...but when my new pedals arrive I'll prolly get some wrestling shoes.

I still drive with socks. Think I'll try with some Puma "driving" shoes for the next race.

Like those pedals man! The first thing I would change on my setup is the pedals. Had a race with Lotus Elites last night. Because I needed quite a stab at the throttle to match gears, my braking was far from ideal. A better pedal setup and some heel and toeing would help alot. Maybe modify the G25 pedals?
