Also for some reason, some of the best looking liveries are linked to tobacco and alcoholic drinks sponsorship.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
or alternatively ... tobacco sponsorship brought VAST sums to the industry which prompted the likes of Ecclestone to realise that instead of it a SPORT it was much more lucratiuve as a BUSINESS.
There was as much innovation in F1 before tobacco advertising became the king.
All the new tracks are coming where smoking is growing and we're losing tracks where society is reducing smoking from health concerns.
I dont think it was healthy - pun intended
But the Canucks are crazy !!!!!!
What do they do with classic/historic race events ?
Anway, my smiley on motorsport sponsorship in the UK anyway was the ructions it caused within the BBC and British clowns when a DUREX sponsored car ran
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
Is it ? The link seems to suggest it's not be just tv .... ANY ...
"The Tobacco Act prohibits the promotion of tobacco products"
But you guys will know the full remit of the act.

If I smoked, I'd probably smoke Marlboro, my dad used to smoke them.
I know Marlboro sponsored Ferrari, but I think they also sponsored Honda when they were with McLaren, right?
Edit- Yes, they did, the Mclaren MP4/5.
But Lucky Strike would be a close second, for Honda's F1 racing.
Cigarettes are cool for those that smoke it in my opinion, but I hate the smell and the health effects of it.
I love the sound of a Zippo.

I'd smoke an old school pipe, unironically.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
