Ferrari have revealed the latest bespoke one-off built to custom order. Dubbed the P80/C, this truly spectacular machine is based on the 488 GT3 racing car. The project was kicked off back in 2015 and drew inspiration from 1960s sports cars like the 330 P4 and the 206 S Dino. The unique body was penned by the Flavio Manzoni headed Ferrari Styling Centre with considerable input from the client. As a result, the P80/C is actually 5% more aerodynamically efficient.
Although not due to be delivered until late in 2020, Aston Martin released further sketches of the DBS GT Zagato. It has been created to celebrate Zagato's 100th anniversary and will only be available as a package with a DB4 GT Zagato replica. Limited to 19 examples, this DBZ Centenary Collection is priced at £6 million. Compared to the value of the original that is still a great value. We recently spotted a superb example of the original 19 cars. Shown at Retromobile by Fiskens, the featured car was originally owned and raced by none other than Dr Elio Zagato.
Another Aston Martin making headlines this month is the Vantage DTM, which will be raced in the German touring car championship by R-Motorsport. Built to the latest 'Class One' regulations, it has been developed for the British company by HWA Motorsport, who were previously responsible for the Mercedes-Benz DTM cars.
