    PSP- mp4

    im having troubles saving an mpeg4 (mp4) onto my PSP and playing them, has anyone had experience? any help, thanks

    is it from itunes? cause if it is, it cannot be played o the PSP...but there are several programs out there that can fix it

    You have to use some type of file format, I think. I'm not a PSP pro, so sorry.

    Download 3gp converter, it should convert it to the correct format.

    I think its actually called m4a Sam..thats what my i-tunes songs are.

    That's apples implementation of the MP4 audio codec. IIRC it has some proprietary bits for protection - Apple and MS are fighting over this atm

    The MPEG comittee accepted the Divx-type formats as an improved video compression technique. It was "camelised" into the MP4 standard along with many other so-called improvements.

    The standard does NOT rely on the file suffix. Decoders only need to know it's a video or audio fed and then the file content itself identifies which decoder to use to replay it via the CC bits.
