Probably nothing. The box office revenues reflect the sad state of film these days. Everything is a poor copy of something that's come before, often a bad tv show.

This man has the right idea. Add American History X to that, and maybe Sin City, and you have yourself a nice set of classics.
To anyone who hasn't seen it, go see American History X, it's undoubtedly my favourite movie ever, I absolutely encourage everyone to watch it.

Apocalypse Redux (even though its a remake of that 70's movie), IMO one of the films you HAVE to have seen.
    Kill Bill 1, not 2
    Men in Black

Remakes like War of the Works will not normally stand the test of time.

Titanic will be a shoe in as it has all the stuff that makes girls and oldies go all soppy.

The Truman Show was a intersting look at for far the reality genre could go, and it came before the tv shows tried to take things this far.

Eternal Sunshine and Donnie Darco have a good chance to get there as does LOTRs - but this like other SX based films will look dated more quickly.

Once Were Warriers is imho more likely to reach classic status.

if ultimatum is anywhere near as good a identity and supremacy then i think the jason bourne trilogy will be one of the best ever made. the cinematography is stunning but each has its own style.

gooing back a few years reckon these films are either already classics or will become them
