    Hybridizing

What do you think of hybridizing (updating to current regulations) racing cars?

I personally think it is stupid because in the end your going to have to construct a new car anyway

Not sure I follow Z, can you give us some examples.

IF a team decides to update an older car to new regs then they have clearly determined that it would be cheaper or faster than building a new car. IF you build a new car then it's not "hibridising" ?

I'm confused, example might help clarify .

For every year more you use a hybrid there will be a weight penalty and smaller restrictors have to be used.
