Thumbs up Bugatti EB 16/4 Veyron

It's one of my favorite cars............just talk about the beast and let's see some pictures. By the way, since they're moving to a carbon fiber monocoque and some other changes, I heard estimates of the car weighing 3,500 lbs.!!! That is amazing considering how big the engine is.

It is a small thing but it has 1001 PS which is about 997BHP.

But it is a beast of a car. Absolutely brilliant.

in actual fact guys the veyron is "only" 987HP and the acceleration times is about 3.0sec to 100km/h and 14sec to 300km/h - what the **** kind of performance is that - completely MAD!!! 14sec to 300km - man - only a space shuttle comes close and those looks - its the kind of cars in which you just cannot stop looking at like a stunning girl sitting across you in the restaurant and you can't concentrate even on your food properly - the interior has audi and Vw influence which is i say the best kind of influence you can get in terms of interior - BRILLIANT

2.9 seconds, 3 seconds, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference . 7-speed sequential...... that transmission would be a blast!!!! Hey SL 500, in that picture you sent, the 20-inches look great! The interior is so frickin' nice, too. I read that it has diamonds in the needles of all its guages. Now that's whay I call attention to detail .

Hey McLaren, you finally met your match !!!

I know that there are road cars faster than the F1, but the world record still belongs to McLaren.

    This is from http://www.vwvortex.com/news/03_02/03_20/index.shtml

    Interior

    Noble interior atmosphere

The generous wheelbase of 2,700 millimeters ensures ample space inside the car, this example of which is trimmed in 'silk'-colored leather.

For an unbeatable listening experience inside the car, a high-end sound system from Dieter Burmester, the Berlin-based manufacturer of hi-fi equipment, is fitted. In close cooperation with the Bugatti development team, the ideal location of all the components was determined when the bodyshell was developed, in order to ensure optimum function, music quality and design appeal.

Two one-carat diamonds form part of the interior decor of the study car exhibited in Geneva, and act as points of focus for its exceptional luxury. These 'Spirit' diamonds, as they are called, are mounted on the speedometer needle and at the center of the 'powermeter', a dial that displays how much of the engine's available power is being used. Cut with 16 sunray facets, these diamonds symbolize the power and energy of the 16-cylinder engine that forms the technical heart of the Bugatti EB 16-4 Veyron.

These 'Spirit' diamonds were specially cut by the Dr. Ulrich Freiesleben diamond workshops, using an innovative technique to obtain the 16 full-radius facets.

Or maybe that Konigsegg or however you spell it. I heard of a concept manufacturer called Lotec who made a prototype called the Sirius with 1334bhp under the bonnet. Hey, anyway, it will definately not make production.

Even with 1334bhp it is not that fast, well it is, but for the power. 0-60 mph in 3.7 secs and 248 mph. I think this is also a Mercedes-Powered car.
