    Hah! Good one!

Goin' to work now... will post a couple of pix of my finally-nearly-finished BMW 700 beforehand. Man, it's been a long and unpleasant year.

Definately fun in small doses or given enough space to explore it's limits. As I suggested, it isn't COMFORTABLE, but that's something any enthusiast will deal with as needed when driving a performance car. It's missing some things, and has too many others (weight!) but I must say it's potential will be realized by the tuners itching to do some magic. Check out the new Autoweek... the photo on page 22 is also by Mark Elias.

The website my friend's post is at: Review: 2009 Nissan GT-R

As I said, he writes/shoots for several outlets. I didn't realize what this website was... it's definately a pump-piece. I guess it makes sense to not bite the hand that... well, you know. Anyway, the pix are cool. The bald guy behind the wheel is me.

One more personal photo of a great old-school Okeechobee lunch spot- patty melts and sweet tea.
OFF TOPIC: that website used to be a good place for news and pics, then they changed the layout and something connected to the view of the images, and it's almost unusable, if you try to save the images, they will all have the same name, while using a batch operator will end up with just some html files. they lost an user.

Yeah... I had a problem trying to copy one of those shots too.
Wonder if they set the photo albums up that way purposely?

I guess so, the site now is even heavier to seen.
btw, solve the problem of the batch download using a batch change on the extension of the files. but they are all named the same, so the program (down them all, for firefox) name them xxxxxx 001.jpg, 002.jpg etc, with "xxxxxxx" being not the name of the pic

Thought it would be cool to post comparitive photos... a 1972 Skyline verses the 2009 GTR. The styling cues are obvious (particularly the sidelight shapes), and nicely done IMHO. The Skyline photo was nabbed from eBay, where the pictured car is for sale, priced about $32K. Nice.

Interesting. I assume the rims on the 73 aren't stock?

No... they are very rare (and light) Watanabes. The auction ended without a sale... the page is still up, take a look:

    I like it.

My favorite GT-R of all time:

A 1973 KPGC110 GT-R. They only made 197 of those. Obviously it's not stock, it has some very nice modern touches IMO.
