I thought I had won one early this year?

I had a great photo to enter but I took it last summer, I've been too busy the past couple months to take any worthwhile pictures, so hopefully I'll take some soon to enter.

Yea absolutely, the history of that place is also quite amazing. It was first used as a place of shelter for some german noblemen in a war they lost. They stayed there a while, then died there. They did some kind of good thing for the people around it, so they were declared holy. Then somebody built this church on the rocky point, right next to the cave they stayed in. Anyway, then in WW2 there was heavy fighting in the area and also here. The picture was taken from one side of the war cemetery here, with 8 mass graves for 2-300 persons each, all germans. Quite some high officers were in between them, from soldat or panzerjager all the way to oberscharrfuhrer and colonel. I also took some nice shots there, wait for next weeks

just my opinion, a very humble one, but that tree seems almost pasted on the pic
your photograph's skills are out of question, but I always find your pics a little bit unreal. maybe it's just me, or maybe is exactly the effect you wanted.
